We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Creative Designer to join our User Interaction team.
You will be joining a team of User Interface developers and Interaction architects, working on a range of exciting projects for high profile clients such as Red Bull, BP and Sky using cutting-edge technologies.
Essential requirements for the role:
- At least 4 years commercial creative design experience for the web with a strong visual portfolio of designs
- Expert skills in relevant Adobe Suites (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Excellent creative design skills and meticulous attention to detail & a passion for design innovation and typography and mobile platforms
- A good understanding of interactive design principles, usability and online branding issues
- Experience of designing for social media, web applications, user interfaces, and content management systems
- An understanding and ability to run the creative process within a team environment
Preferred skills:
- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline
- A deep understanding of branding and marketing
- A background in traditional graphic design
- Experience of producing Flash animations
- Experience of HTML coding
- Moderate User Experience understanding
Your typical day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- To create and develop compelling digital design solutions for websites, web applications, email campaigns and banner advertisements
- To use story boarding, wireframing, persona development, user journeys and interface design principles to produce user centered designs
- To understand, implement and develop client brand guidelines for the web
- To understand creative briefs and direct others when required
- To work closely with other designers, developers, project managers and copy writers, as well the client service and planning departments
- To generate concepts and other creative presentation materials to develop new business
- To communicate effectively at a high level with clients in design presentations and client meetings
- To work with the technical team to integrate digital design solutions with backend systems
- To maintain project documentation and ensure creative designs are delivered to standard and on time
- To carry out all duties in accordance with company policies and standards
- To be responsible for self-development and to participate in the company performance development process
