Going Green

Us Rockpudlians have gone all eco warrior by setting up a Corporate Social Responsibility Team (CSR). Its purpose is to raise awareness of our environmental impact so we can limit our carbon footprint and give something back. We’ve started by setting up a company recycling scheme, getting involved in local community projects, and encouraging staff to cycle to work, although don’t try parking by doing a wheelie into the bike sheds. Alex learnt the hard way.

Future of Web Design

Four Rockpoolers – 3 User Experience dudes and 1 Creative type – attended the Future of Web Design conference at The Brewery in London last month for some essential web learning stuff from the biggest names in web design; do Dan Cederholm, Standardistas, Remy Sharp, and Paul Boag mean anything to you?. Hot topics included CSS3, HTML5, jQuery, iPhone, Usability, and Accessibility.
