Sky Portal
The Brief
Sky have six different routes to market all which had very different processes and systems for communicating information and processing sales. Sky required a single portal for all users in the different routes to market that provides consistent information, communications and tools that enable them to complete their job in the most effective way.
Our Solution
Rockpool provided a portal which engages users in an entertaining and exciting manner. Utilising a single sign on process, the web portal is fully integrated with external applications used internally within Sky such as business information, communications, training and reporting. The Portal was designed to be user friendly and the use of a consistent information architecture allows users to easily navigate each area of the portal. The portal was built using our bespoke Content Management System, which allows users to easily manage, maintain and update content and information in-house.
The Result
The portal has now successfully been rolled out to three of the six routes to market to assist in communicating information and processing sales within Sky. Its success has meant we are constantly asked to develop it to include extra functionality due to the increased volume of users and extra business units wanting access.
