The UKs leading engineering support services company, Babcock could be the largest company you’ve never heard of. They are a global operation with numerous business units worldwide and a revenue of over £3.5bn in 2014. Basically they’re huge, work across multiple industries and have loads of stakeholders who all want their own interests represented.

Project Summary

In 2013, Rockpool was asked to design and build a new corporate website which would meet the demands of these global stakeholders, including potential employees, and allow Babcock to share responsibility for the website across the business.

Our solution included a sleek, corporate website built on Sitecore in addition to content and brand guidelines which allows ‘content champions’ from different units to update the site with their own activity, whilst head office maintains control of the Babcock brand.

Today, as Babcock’s digital agency of record we are in the process of redesigning the site to keep them ahead of the curve and take advantage of new UX and creative thinking, including some cutting edge tracking and personalisation technology. Watch this space!
